TIP Helps Realize v8 Goals for TriWest
Partnership Yields Successful Financials and HRMS Upgrades and eModule Implementations
Denver, Colorado - TIP, an innovator in enterprise software solutions, announces today the successful completion of HRMS/Payroll and Financials upgrades from 7.5 to v8, and implementations of v8 Time & Labor, eBenefits, eRecruit, eRecruit Manager Desktop and Projects at TriWest Healthcare Alliance, a Department of Defense contractor. Responsible for managing TRICARE - the US military's managed healthcare program - in 16 states, TriWest embarked on the considerable project in order to take advantage of the ease with which PeopleSoft v8 and eApplications can be deployed over the Internet to employees nationwide.
Originally engaged in a formalized Quality Assurance role to help mitigate project risk during the HRMS/Payroll and Financials upgrades, TIP's role expanded when TriWest requested additional technical assistance. Responding quickly, TIP played a critical role in delivering both upgrades - executed consecutively - seamlessly.
Based on these successes, TriWest opted to partner with TIP for an immediate move into v8 eModules, Projects and Time & Labor implementation projects. Targeting an extremely aggressive four-week timeline, the TIP/TriWest team applied an accelerated version of TIP's Rapid Application Deployment, or RAD, methodology. Proven to streamline the implementation process, RAD also emphasizes client involvement to promote a solid understanding of new systems and processes.
To further ensure comfort among TriWest end-users, TIP developed and delivered a training program designed to make end-users confident with PeopleSoft v8's advanced functionality.
Despite the challenges of a tight schedule, TriWest celebrated an on time, on budget implementation success.
